Christine Eady, DO
Dr. Christine Eady has been practicing family medicine in the Central Texas area since 1999, and has been with Northwest Diagnostic Clinic since 2010. She is a graduate of North Texas Health Science Center-Ft. Worth, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, and she completed her training in Family Medicine at the Osteopathic Medical Center of Texas.
In her time away from work, Dr. Eady enjoys gardening and long distance trail running with her husband Travis, who is a college professor in the Austin area. She has three grown children with whom she spends as much time as she can. She has done volunteer work with abused and neglected children for CASA of Travis county and is a volunteer deputy voter registrar for both Williamson and Travis counties.
Dr. Eady's practice philosophy is a strong emphasis on preventive care such as vaccination, well exams and physicals, screening tests for common illnesses, aggressive management of serious chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol, and avoidance of unnecessary medications for less serious ailments. She takes care of patients of all ages including infants. Her practice encompasses most aspects of family medicine including pediatrics, well checks for teens, adult men and women, sick visits for all ages, and management of a broad range of chronic illnesses.
