Mr. Drobnica, PA-C graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a minor in pre-medicine and then earned his Bachelor of Science degree as a Physician Associate from the University of Oklahoma after being named the distinguished honor graduate from the U. S Army Academy of Health Sciences Physician Assistant program. He later completed his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, specializing in Family Medicine.

Currently, Mr. Drobnica, PA-C serves as Senior PA at Northwest Diagnostic @ e-MDs, the state of the art computerized family medicine practice in Cedar Park, Texas. Mr. Drobnica, PA-C has practiced as an emergency medicine and primary care PA in rural Texas, and as a rural orthopedic PA upon graduation from the U.S. Army PA program.

As an Army National Guard reservist, Mr. Drobnica, PA-C has been the Executive Officer for Echo Company, 249th Main Support Battalion of the Texas Army National Guard. He is currently a Major in the Texas Medical Command of the Texas Army National Guard. He is also a past President of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. He is a clinical instructor for two of the University of Texas Health Sciences Centers PA programs as well.

During his TAPA president's statewide community service project, John selected the Scott & White's Worth the Wait program, which is an abstinence-based sex education program for middle and high school students, parents, and civic groups. Physician assistants throughout the great state of Texas presented the nationally acclaimed teen sex program Worth the Wait on behalf of Scott & White and continue to support this valuable program.

John founded the Hill Country Community Ministries CARE Committee in 2003, by recruiting key civic leadership to develop and implement community fund raising events that highlight the role of HCCM. He remains active in the CARE Committee and continues to raise financial resources and community awareness of this community organization. Mr. Drobnica, PA-C is also the founder of the annual fall Cedar Perk 5 Miler that benefits Community Policing and local Hike and Bike Trail development.
